He leaves a widow and two other sons besides S H and a daughter. They are Fred W G "rigsby of Yountville, C E Grigsby of Roseville, and Mrs. John L Webber of Napa county. There are twenty-two grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. "Grandpa" Grigsby, as he was familiarly called, had lived in Napa county for 67 years. He crossed the plains with his father, Captain John Grigsby, who officiated at the raising of the Bear Flag in Sonoma. The funeral was held last Tuesday and Rev. U E Patridge paid a beautiful tribute to his memory. The many friends who were present bowed their heads in sorrow and grief, for they had lost a neighbor and a good friend and one who was greatly admired by everyone who knew him.
