John GRIGSBY II was born about 1665 in , Va. He died about 1750 in , Stafford Co., Va. !See article in the National Grigsby Family Society Newsletter by Lutha Grigsby, which refers to an inventory of the estate of John Grigsby in Stafford Co., VA. Court Records, November 1750, p. 160. He was married to Jane REDMAN about 1695 in , Stafford Co., Va.
Jane REDMAN was born between 1675 and 1680 in , Stafford Co., Va. She died in 1756 in , Stafford Co., Va. She was christened. !There was a William Redman witness to a will of one William Wood, who left to his cousin, Ann Hinson, 100 acres of land next to John Grigsby on the northern end or side of the land of William Wood in Stafford Co., VA. in June 1706.
According to Lutha Grigsby, Historian/Genealogist, 2719 Gainesborough, Dallas, TX 75287, in February 1995 issue of the National Grigsby Family Soiciety Newsletter, Jane's maiden name may have been either Rosser or Redman or Redmond; whereas in fact there is nothing to substantiate jusst what her maiden name may have been. Children were:
i. Thomas GRIGSBY was born about 1696 in , Va. He died after 1756 in , Va. He was christened.
ii. John GRIGSBY III was born about 1698 in , Va. He died about 1771. He was christened.
iii. Aaron GRIGSBY was born about 1701 in , Va. He died about 1764. He was christened.
