Birth: 1872 Death: Jun., 1894 Burial:: Steward Cemetery Steward, Lee County, Illinois, USA Rochelle Leader and News June 1894 Mrs. James Kirby, Jr, (nee Miller) died at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. D.C. Miller at Fertile Valley, on Saturday, June 2. The remains were intered in the Steward Cemetery Monday afternoon. ___________________________________________ (Note: James was the son of Stephen Kirby and Ellen Kennedy and was not a "Jr.". After she died he moved to Richdale, Alberta, Canada. Her name was Ella Miller and her parents were Daniel C. Miller and Margaret Schultz. In the 1880 census her name was listed as A. Ellen Miller. She was one of ten children. She married James Kirby in Febraury of 1894 and died in June. She was a second cousin, once removed of Ernest Miller Hemmingway)
