PATRICIA L. McKINNEY, 72, passed away Thursday, Feb. 26, 2015, at her home surrounded by her family.
Born in Fort Wayne, Patricia was a Teacher working her way to Assistant Principal at Portage Middle School for a total of 30 years before retiring in 2003.
She was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church in Angola. She was the past matron of F.W. Chapter OES #432, and former Queen of Red Hat Club, "Tri-State Saucey Spring Chicks."
Surviving are her husband, Roger W. McKinney of Fremont; son, Michael (Lynda) McKinney of Fort Wayne; daughter, Debra Marie McKinney of Fort Wayne, two granddaughters; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Ethelyn Frankenberg.
Calling is from 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 3, 2015, at D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 E. Dupont Road with an Eastern Star Service at 7:30 p.m. Cemetery Service is 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Greenlawn Memorial Park, with calling from 11 a.m. until the service.
Memorials may be made to the Calvary Lutheran Church in Angola, Indiana or Steuben County Cancer Association.
