She was a member of American Legion Post 31 Ladies Auxiliary and enjoyed spending time playing bingo. Survivors include three sons, Jim (Sandy) Schieber of Angola, Todd Schieber of Angola and Michael (Pamela) Schieber of Auburn; brother, Eugene Porter of Angola; sister, Charlene Foster of Angola; ten grandchildren; eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Walter Porter; mother, Gladys McClelen; brother, Richard Porter. Services are pending at this time.

Services Today for Sister of Two Garrett Men

ESTHER T CARTWRIGHT, 68, died at 3:29 pm Thursday in DeKalb Memorial Hospital. She was the sister of Kenneth Cutler and Forrest Cutler 59344746 of Garrett.

Funeral services will be at 11 am today in DO McComb & Sons Auburn Chapel with Rev Dean Waddell officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Born April 8, 1916 in Ossian, Mrs Cartwright was the daughter of Earl and Olive May (Close) Cutler.

Survivors besides Mr Cutler in Garrett are a daughter Melva Dick, Angola; a son Earl Cartwright, Auburn; three sisters Florence McKinney, Yoder; Ruth Hall, Ridgeway Mich; and Gladys McClellan, Angola; two other brothers, Chester Cutler, Naple Fla and Paul Cutler, Columbus Ohio; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Three children and five brothers and sisters preceded her in death.
