| PreFlight: | Frisco Condo across from Safeway. Mark Lampi 612-xxx-xxxx Just when you thought it couldn’t get any more confusing….Mr. Hugh “Crash” Herndon will be joining us on our trip. He gets into town on Friday and leaves Wed morning. Whether he’ll ski the entire time or spend a good portion of it in ER or the coffee shop w/ his butt in a sling, only time will tell.Drew Bear will be joining us as well. He doesn’t know yet, but that’s going to be part of his Birthday present is a ‘weekend w/ the guys’. He’ll be so excited he won’t know what to do. The more abuse you give him, the better he likes it.I still haven’t seen Jamie’s flight information but since he doesn’t own a computer (yet), it takes him some time to get to the library to type the info in. He’s used to a typewriter where you can fit those round bottles in it for prescriptions, not the ones w/ no keys! Jamie will need to rent skis at Virgin Island Ski Rental. Shouldn’t be a problem, it’s right on the way.And now for the kicker. My folks will be ‘in town’ …… Frisco that is. They were going to come through Denver to see the Bear and I, but since we weren’t going to be there, they found a condo in Frisco (close to us, I think) and will be joining us for dinner on Fri and Sat night. Their plans are to shop the outlets stores one day, walk about Breckenridge one day and then Frisco/Keystone another day. Current plans are to take Drew home Sunday night and stay at my place, before heading back to MO Monday morning. Now if we could just get that Swedish bikini team in the condo next to us who needs an extra bed or two from our condo, or a couple of feet of snow while we’re up there, or temperatures in the mid (negative) 50’s, it would turn out to be a NORMAL guy’s ski weekend. I sure am looking forward to getting away for four days of hard skiing. The following weekend (Mar 10th), I’m going on a hut trip 😉 Oh well, How Bad Can It Be?       |
